This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data, account information, saved content, shared data and in-app usage information are processed when you use Nixi.
Nixi is designed to help you organize your documents, notes, links, gallery items, Spaces and Chat usage in one personal place.
You decide what you save, what you share and what you delete inside Nixi.
This policy applies to the Nixi mobile application, website, support channels and services connected to Nixi.

3. Information we collect
When you use Nixi, the following types of information may be processed in connection with your account.
Account information
This includes your email address, account ID, login information, account creation date and account status.
Profile information
This includes your first name, last name, profile photo, username, birth date, phone number, language preference and membership plan.
Personal content
This includes documents, notes, links, gallery items, photos, videos, reminders, categories, favorites and content pinned to your Home screen.
Chat and Spaces data
This includes messages sent through Chat, shared content, voice messages, call information, conversation participants, Spaces, Space memberships and content shared inside Spaces.
Technical and device information
This may include session information, device type, app version, operating system, error logs, security logs, IP address, basic usage data and technical information needed to protect system performance.
Membership and payment information
This includes your plan, subscription status, storage allowance, basic transaction information received from payment providers and billing records. Nixi does not store your full card number or card security code in its own systems.
Support communications
When you contact us, we may process your message content, email address, screenshots you provide and information needed to handle your support request.
4. How we use information
Your information may be used to:
- Create, verify and manage your Nixi account.
- Allow you to sign in and use the app.
- Store and display your documents, notes, links, gallery items and other personal content.
- Provide reminders, favorites, Home items and category features.
- Provide Chat and Spaces features.
- Show shared content to the people or Space members you choose.
- Manage your membership plan, storage allowance and subscription status.
- Protect account security and prevent misuse.
- Detect technical errors, performance issues and security risks.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Improve, organize and protect Nixi.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable privacy laws apply, your personal data may be processed based on the following legal bases.
Performance of a contract
Processing needed to create your Nixi account, provide app access, store your content, manage your membership plan and provide the Nixi service.
Legitimate interests
Processing needed to protect security, prevent misuse, improve the app, review errors and performance issues and manage support processes.
Consent
Processing based on your permission, such as certain notifications, marketing communications or device permissions.
Legal obligations
Processing needed for tax, payment, security, consumer protection, official requests or legal record-keeping obligations.
6. Sharing and visibility
Content in your personal space cannot be viewed by other users unless you choose to share it.
When you share content through Chat, Spaces or external sharing options, that content may become visible to the people, conversation recipients or Space members you choose.
Members added to a Space may view content allowed for that Space and perform actions permitted for their role or access level.
Nixi may work with trusted third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, data storage, email delivery, payments, analytics, error monitoring and security. These providers may process information only as needed to support the operation of the service.
Nixi may share information where required for legal obligations, court orders, official requests, security risks, fraud prevention, misuse investigations or protection of rights.
7. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active and as long as it is needed to provide Nixi services.
If you delete your account, your profile information, personal content, files and account-related data may be deleted or anonymized.
Some data may be kept for a limited period where needed for legal obligations, payment records, security records, fraud or misuse investigations or dispute resolution.
Support communications may be kept for a reasonable period to resolve your request and manage support history.
8. Security
Nixi is designed to protect user data with account-based access rules. Each user can view and manage content connected to their own account.
Authentication, user-based data access, storage rules, security controls and technical protection measures are used to help prevent unauthorized access.
Nixi does not claim to provide end-to-end encryption. For this reason, phrases such as “E2E encrypted” are not used inside the app. However, data protection, access control and user privacy are core product principles of Nixi.
No digital system is completely risk-free. You should use a strong password and avoid reusing your Nixi password on other services.
9. International data processing
Nixi and its service providers may use infrastructure located in different countries. This means your data may be processed or stored outside the country where you live.
In such cases, Nixi works to use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
By using Nixi, you understand that your data may be processed in different countries as needed to provide the service.
10. Payments and subscriptions
Nixi plans may be offered through the App Store, Google Play or other authorized payment providers.
Payment processing is handled by the relevant payment provider. Nixi does not store your full card number or card security code in its own systems.
Nixi may connect your subscription status, plan, payment confirmation, renewal status and billing-related information to your account.
Subscription cancellation, renewal, refund and payment management may be subject to the rules of the relevant platform or payment provider.
11. Age requirement and children
Nixi is not specifically designed for children.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Nixi. If you are under 16, you should use Nixi only with permission from your parent or legal guardian.
Nixi does not knowingly collect special category personal data from children. If you believe that data belonging to a child has been processed without permission, you can contact us at info@mynixi.io.
Age ratings on the App Store or Google Play may be determined separately according to the content and target audience forms of the relevant platform.
12. Your rights
Depending on applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Ask for incorrect or incomplete data to be corrected.
- Ask for your data to be deleted.
- Ask for processing of your data to be restricted.
- Object to certain processing activities.
- Request your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

13. Account deletion
You can start account deletion from Profile settings inside the Nixi app.
Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, your profile information, personal content, files, Chat and Spaces data and account-related information may be deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
For security, a verification code may be sent to your current account email address before account deletion is completed.
Some data may be kept for a limited period where needed for legal obligations, payment records, security records, misuse investigations or dispute resolution.
14. Fair use and service protection
To keep Nixi fast, fair and secure, fair-use protections may apply in cases of unusually heavy usage, misuse or behavior that significantly affects the service.
These protections help keep the service reliable and sustainable for all users.
Nixi does not show technical media usage or infrastructure consumption measurements to users during normal use. Users may see relevant information such as storage space provided under their account and membership plan.
15. Updates to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Updates are published on this page. If there are important changes, notice may be provided through the Nixi app, website, email or other appropriate channels.
